What to bring

What to Bring to Salmon Camp

We primarily use conventional bait-casting gear here, but you can fly fish as well. If you would like to fly fish, you will need to bring your own gear as the salmon camp does not stock any fly fishing equipment. Guests are encouraged to bring waders and wading boots for light wading purposes and warmth when the temperature drops, but are not necessary. We also provide comfortable bedding so, no need to bring your sleeping bag.

Due to flight restrictions we ask you pack as light as possible but follow the recommendations listed below for gear. For example, in the case of waders and wading boots, they’re recommended but not required. Rather than pack neoprene waders we suggest you lighten your load and pack lightweight Gore-Tex type waders and lightweight wading shoes or boots. We very much appreciate your cooperation…thank you. Please contact us with any questions you may have regarding weight requirements on our bush planes.
