What to bring

Anderson’s Outdoors provides all the fishing equipment, primarily using light spin tackle. You are welcome to bring your own gear if you desire. If interersted in fly fishing you will need to provide your own equipment and flies. You will need to bring appropriate clothing, rain gear, waders are encouraged but not required (no spiked sole wading boots please). You will also need to bring your own lunch/snacks and drinks (alcoholic beverages are allowed), as well as a valid fishing license and “harvest” tag. Coffee and water provided on all trips. Hot shore lunch provided on package trips and is available on day trips for an additional fee.
  • “quality rain gear”. (No cheap ponchos)
  • waterproof foot wear
  • waders and wading boots (no felt soles or spikes) - optional but encouraged
  • sunglasses (remove straps and super important)
Anglers are allowed to retain 2 “fin clipped” (hatchery) steelhead and/or salmon per day. By State of Oregon regulations, all wild steelhead must be released. Anglers are not allowed to fish ( catch and release) after retaining a daily limit.
